I have been capturing the world around me for many years and have gained many insights from my travels and adventures. I first learned about nature and the appreciation of it through my father and the many camping and hiking trips we took throughout New England when I was growing up in Eastern Massachusetts. I took my first photography class with my father’s old Canon AE-1 program when I was in college when I was unsure about pursuing an art degree. From that class an evolution began and I learned traditional techniques that eventually evolved to meet digital practices and applications. Years later and with a professional digital camera, I still have the same appreciation and concerns about the natural world and resources around us.
